Tips For Cleaning Your Bathroom: Bath and Shower Stall

Your house should be clean , tidy and clutter free when showing it to potential buyers. The bathroom MUST be spotless. You may have a gorgeous home but if your kitchen or bathroom shows signs of wear or dirt it can cost you big money when negotiating a price.

Get rid of build up in tub and shower stall. The easiest way is to prevent. Bar soap contains wax that will build up in your tub over time- switch to a liquid shower gel or body wash and scum build-up will not reappear. Cleanup will be much easier.

How to get rid of existing build-up and scum> Any orange-based liquid cleaner will do the trick. Spray you tub and shower and let it sit for a while. Wipe off. For really stubborn stains try hot water and vinegar ( make sure you wear gloves) .

Buy a new plastic shower curtain or liner. If you must- you can wash in washing machine- spray with your orange cleaner, let sit a few minutes and wash.

Mississauga Freecycle- Get rid of your clutter!

Ever heard of Freecycle? It is a grass roots movement embraced by people all over North America. The idea is to give away stuff- or get stuff for free. Things that you are no longer using or would normally throw out. It is a yahoo email list- so you need to sign up. Pretty much every town and city has there own freecycle group- including Mississauga. When you are getting ready to list your house and starting to pack up invariably clutter really builds up- many times you have doubles of items you no longer use or cookbooks that have sat on shelves for years. Instead of throwing out or recycling- why not freecycle? On a freecycle list you can make 4 kinds of posts: Offer an item ( and it MUST be free!) Ask for an item or post that something you offered had been taken.

You would post the item you have, what kind of shape it is in and terms of pick-up- also roughly what area you are in. You will most likely be deluged with emails asking you for your dented washing machine, too big couch stack of magazines or box of toys in the back of the garage.
