Moving is a big decision. Many people make the decision to move for the wrong reason. here is a list of reason why you should NOT move.

1. You don;t like the neighbours. The next house may have worse neighbours

2. You are bored with house and need a change of scenery

3.Trying to get rid of debt or consolidate debt using equity and taking on a larger mortgage. Better to remortgage existing house and start spending less and stop using credit to make purchases.

4. You love the way the new house is decorated. It won’t look the same when all the furniture is gone and your furniture gets moved in.

1. Your house is too small for a growing family. You need more bedrooms or want a main floor family room or more bathrooms.

2. You don’t like the neighbourhood or schools

3. You want a bigger yard.

4. You want a smaller yard.

5. You are making a bigger salary and want more house.

6. You are downsizing and want less expenditure each month

7. You want to downsize to a condo because you are not there half the year (you are away probably in Florida) and don’t want all the upkeep .

8. You want to be closer to family members or you want to be further away from them.

9. You will be working from home and need a home office.

10. Mortgage rates rates are more attractive and you can afford to upgrade.
